The SPS grants state aids in accordance with legal regulations through public tenders. Public tenders are published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, in public media, and on the SPS website: https://www.podjetniskisklad.si/javni-razpisi-in-pozivi/.
In each tender, it is necessary to check the tender conditions:
- What is state aid (guarantee for securing a bank loan, interest rate subsidy, subsidy of eligible costs, etc.)?
- Which companies are eligible to apply (beneficiaries)?
- Which investments are eligible for state aid (eligible costs)?
- Which companies are excluded due to state aid rules and cannot apply?
- When can eligible costs arise (investment eligibility period)?
- Etc.
Through public tenders, the SPS grants financial aids either directly (directly from the SPS) or indirectly (through banks, venture capital companies, etc.).
The tender documentation for applying to SPS public tenders is available on the SPS website for each specific public tender or call: https://www.podjetniskisklad.si/javni-razpisi-in-pozivi/.
Application Preparation
The applicant decides at their own discretion whether they will prepare the application themselves or use external assistance.
If they decide to use external assistance, they voluntarily and at their own discretion choose a consulting company or business advisor based on market conditions and enter into a business relationship with them. However, the SPS does not participate in this relationship.
Warning!
- There are no consulting companies or business advisors authorized to prepare applications for potential applicants for SPS public tenders.
- Therefore, companies should not fall for any suggestions or explanations that only applications prepared by consulting companies or business advisors with special authorizations are supported.
- It should be noted that certain consulting companies or business advisors may be more qualified to prepare applications than others.
- However, entrepreneurs will certainly be able to assess and verify this themselves in the market when deciding to use external assistance.
