About the register

The Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) has supported the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology to establish the Register of Innovative Start-up Companies, which enables better oversight and support for the Slovenian start-up ecosystem.

At the same time, it also took over the task of managing this register, which represents a key system for promoting innovation, growth and development of companies in Slovenia.

Numbers are not just statistics – they are an important tool for supporting innovative start-up companies in Slovenia. The Startup Register, defined in the Investment Promotion Act, offers more than just an overview of the Slovenian startup ecosystem in one place. It allows companies to access important sources of support, benefits and opportunities for growth.
