59 out of 100 Future 100 Slovenia companies were supported by the SEF on their journey

The Future 100 Slovenia selection highlighted one hundred Slovenian companies with significant potential for further growth, innovation, and successful performance in international markets. Among them are as many as 59 companies that utilized financial or substantive instruments from the Slovene Enterprise Fund during their development steps.
For the SEF, this result is an important confirmation that support is reaching companies that think developmentally, invest in innovation, and have ambitions for growth beyond the Slovenian market.
The success of these companies is primarily the result of their knowledge, vision, perseverance, and hard work. The SEF, however, was able to provide them with support for the next developmental step at the right time – from initial entrepreneurial ideas and startup to new technologies, investments, digitalization, internationalization, and further growth.
From startup to global growth
Companies from the Future 100 Slovenia selection utilized SEF support at various stages of development. The instruments included startup incentives, subsidies, microcredits, SEF guarantees for bank loans with interest rate subsidies, and vouchers for strengthening developmental and business competencies.

The SEF was also involved in the Future 100 Slovenia project. The Director of the SEF, Maja Tomanič Vidovič, MSc, participated in the expert panel that supplemented the data methodology with expert judgment and assisted in identifying promising and breakthrough Slovenian companies with significant potential for further growth.
100 companies with high growth potential
Future 100 Slovenia is the first national implementation of the European Future 500 initiative, aimed at identifying companies with high potential for growth and success in international markets.
Out of more than 203,000 Slovenian companies, 100 companies were selected, which together generate approximately €2.1 billion in revenue, employ around 8,100 people, and have increased their revenue by 112% over the last three years, creating approximately 2,400 new jobs.
The SEF will continue to provide companies with the right support at the right time – from startup and development to investment, growth, and internationalization.
