The SEF’s equity financing program is implemented through a public tender by the Slovenian Technology Fund (STS 2025). Seed/venture capital funds selected in the public tender receive funds to invest in fast-growing and innovative companies.

Cooperation with leading venture capital managers

Within the framework of the Slovenian Technology Fund (STS 2025) public tender, the SEF selected two seed/venture capital managers who raised the most private investments and investment commitments. In this way, the SEF is fulfilling one of the key objectives of the program – activating private capital and strengthening the Slovenian seed/venture capital market.

Cooperation with leading venture capital managers

More than EUR 50 million of equity capital will be available for investments within both funds, intended for investments in innovative companies.

Purpose and objectives of the program

  • increase the volume of seed/venture capital investments in Slovenia,
  • encourage cooperation among private investors,
  • enable the growth and development of innovative companies,
  • contribute to the development of the venture capital market and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

How to get an investment?

The SEF does not directly select companies, but participates as an investor in funds managed by private managers.

Therefore, companies seeking equity investment should contact the selected funds directly.
