About the register
The Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) maintains the Register of Companies with High Added Value, which is part of the system for promoting innovation, growth, and development of companies in Slovenia. The aim of this register is to identify and support companies that create high added value, thereby contributing to the economic development of Slovenia.
Companies with high added value are those that contribute to greater productivity, quality and innovation in the economy.
Registration in the register offers numerous benefits
Conditions for registration in the register
To be entered in the Register of Companies with High Added Value, companies must meet the legally prescribed conditions laid down in Article 30 of the Investment Promotion Act.
Companies must usually prove that their activity contributes to higher productivity and that they are actually involved in sectors with high added value and:
- must be older than 3 years;
- must generate added value per employee that is at least 50% above the Slovenian average, or at least 25% above the Slovenian average if the annual growth in the number of employees is at least 10%;
- must have more than 20 employees;
- annual income must be at least EUR 1,000,000;
- must not be in liquidation or bankruptcy proceedings;
- all tax liabilities must be settled for the last six months.

Check the fulfillment of conditions
Before submitting the application, make sure that your company meets all the legal conditions for entry in the Register of Companies with High Added Value.

Complete the application
The company must prepare appropriate documentation proving that it meets the conditions for registration in the register. This includes information on the company’s activities, products or services, innovations and development.
Complete the application and attach all the necessary documents.

Submission of application
The company must submit an application to the SEF, where it will be assessed whether the company meets the conditions for entry in the register.

- Electronically: Submit the electronic application, signed with a valid qualified digital certificate, to the e-mail address: register@podjetniskisklad.si

Assessment
The SEF reviews the application and assesses whether the company meets the criteria for high added value. If the application is approved, the company is entered in the register.
