GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a European regulation that governs how companies and organizations collect, store, and use the personal data of individuals.

Processing of personal data by the Slovenian Entrepreneurship Fund

In carrying out its tasks, the Slovenian Entrepreneurship Fund (hereinafter: the Fund) also collects and processes the personal data of individuals. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (e.g., name, surname, address, email address, telephone number, identification number, online identifier, etc.). This is data on the basis of which it is possible to directly or indirectly identify an individual.

The Fund processes personal data in accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation and in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has been applied since May 25, 2018. May 2018.

When processing personal data, the Fund ensures:

  • that the processing is lawful, fair, and transparent;
  • that data is collected and processed exclusively for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes;
  • that the scope of the data collected is limited to the minimum necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing;
  • that data is stored only for as long as required by law or as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected;
  • that the rights of individuals to whom the data relates are respected.
