SEF allocates EUR 25 million in favourable loans to businesses

The funds are intended for financing day-to-day operations, improving liquidity and implementing smaller investments. Companies may use them to purchase new machinery and equipment, invest in business real estate, software, patents, licences and trademarks, and for working capital, such as the costs of materials, merchandise, services and labour.
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises headquartered in the Republic of Slovenia that meet the call conditions may apply. Among other requirements, they must have been established and operating before 1 January 2025 and have at least one employee. The product is intended for financially viable SMEs that require favourable sources of finance for operations and further development.
Key loan features
- Loan amount: from EUR 15,000 to EUR 100,000
- Interest rate: fixed annual 2.30%
- Maturity: from 2 to 5 years for loans up to EUR 50,000, or from 2 to 7 years for loans above EUR 50,000
- Grace period: from 1 to 6 months, with the option of extension up to a total maximum of 24 months
- Financing: up to 100% of eligible costs
- No loan approval or servicing fees.
Eligible costs must be incurred in the period from 1 August 2026 to 30 November 2027.
Applications may be submitted until 15 October 2026
Applications shall be submitted exclusively electronically via the SEF ePortal. The submission deadline is 15 October 2026 by 14:00.
Before completing the application form, applicants must obtain the certificate AJPES S.BON-1 or eS.BON, prepared on the basis of the annual report for 2025.
