Within the RazvojniPlus Program, the Fund will organize the event »Dragon Makers Slovenia« on November 7, 2025, where ten (10) Slovenian innovative SMEs will have the opportunity to present their innovative products to a group of experienced international investors, obtain direct feedback and establish opportunities for further networking and collaboration.

The event will bring together a distinguished group of international investors with extensive experience in venture capital, corporate finance and technological innovation. Participants will include leading venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives who have collectively supported hundreds of start-ups around the world – from early stages to unicorns. Among the investors who have already confirmed their participation in the event are:

• Alexander »Sasha« Galitsky – scientist, innovator, entrepreneur and start-up investor. Co-founder of Almaz Capital, supported by Cisco, IFC, EIF and EBRD, with investments in companies such as Yandex, Parallels, Acronis and Xometry. Widely recognized as one of Europe’s most influential technologists.
• Mike Sigal – founder of eight companies in Silicon Valley (4 sales, 1 IPO) and former fintech investor with more than 100 deals, including 5 unicorns. Today, he advises and trains company founders and new fund managers around the world.
• Sunil Rao – Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COO & CFO) at Plum Alley Ventures, where he leads strategic initiatives, fundraising and investor relations. Former Senior Director at Barclays, Citigroup and KPMG with two decades of global banking and financial experience. Active advisor, mentor and investor in early stage start-ups.
• Companies selected in the public call will also receive additional content support when presenting to foreign investors:
• preparatory workshops for participating companies, which include:
  • a more detailed presentation of the investors who will be present at the event;
  • o guidance on which of the investors present might be most suitable for an individual company;
  • o basic guidelines for preparing an effective pitch, including content highlights and common mistakes.
• individual consultation before the event, with the aim of additional preparation and clarification of possible questions.

Participation in the presentation to foreign investors is free of charge for innovative SMEs that will be selected. In accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2831/EU, de minimis aid of EUR 488.00 will be reported for each selected innovative SME.

Interested innovative SMEs submit their application for participation in the presentation event (pitch) before international venture capital investors via e-mail to: razvojniplus@podjetniskisklad.si

When applying, applicants must attach a completed Application form, including Annexes 1 and 2. For companies that meet the conditions from Application 2.2 – 2.5, Annex 1 is not mandatory.

The first ten (10) applications that fully meet the conditions of this public call will be selected.
