The Slovene Enterprise Fund is announcing EUR 10 million in microloans to provide favorable sources of financing for micro and small enterprises.

The Slovene Enterprise Fund (hereinafter SEF) is starting the year 2026 with favorable microloans ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 25,000, which enable micro and small enterprises to obtain favorable sources of financing for smaller investments or working capital in a simple and fast manner.

Today, the SEF published a public call in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 5/2026, P7 2026 – Microloans 2026, which it is announcing from the funds of the Fund of Funds of SID Bank. Micro and small enterprises with at least one employee, established before January 1, 2024, and based in the cohesion region of Eastern or Western Slovenia, can apply for the funds.
Microloans are intended to finance costs related to the purchase of new equipment, the purchase of patented rights, licenses, or to cover current liquidity needs, such as the costs of material and commercial goods, the costs of services, employee salaries, and other operating costs.
Key financing characteristics
- Loan amount: From EUR 5,000 to EUR 25,000, with the possibility of approving one application.
- Interest rate: 37.5% six-month EURIBOR + fixed margin of 0.8 percentage points
- Loan term: From 2 to 5 years.
- Moratorium: Possibility of using a moratorium on principal repayment for up to 6 months with the possibility of extending ½ of the loan term. The moratorium is included in the loan repayment period.
- Coverage of costs: The loan can cover up to 100% of the value of eligible project costs
- Collateral: 8 company bills of exchange.
- No costs for loan management and approval.
Due to digitized and optimized procedures, the application is simple. Companies submit the application electronically via the ePortal at SEF, whereby the deadline for submission is February 13, 2026, until 2 PM.
