Purpose of the voucher
To encourage micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to participate in outgoing business delegations with the aim of:
- connecting with potential business partners
- seeking new business opportunities
- increasing visibility
- gaining experience in presentations and business operations in foreign markets
which will have a positive impact on the competitiveness of companies.
An economic delegation is an organised visit of representatives of Slovenian companies abroad, which includes a business programme and networking between Slovenian and foreign companies.
Amount of funding
- 60% co-financing of eligible costs
- Lowest subsidy: EUR 300.00
- Maximum subsidy: EUR 2,000.00

- EUR 2.5 million for the period 2024–2028
Eligible applicants
- micro, small and medium-sized enterprises based in the Republic of Slovenia, which, as legal or natural persons, are engaged in economic activity and are organised as companies or self-employed individuals or cooperatives
Eligible costs
- Registration fees for business delegations abroad
- Transportation costs – are the costs of an airplane ticket in basic/economy class
- Accommodation costs – only the costs of accommodation or accommodation with breakfast are eligible; accommodation can be claimed during the duration of the delegation and a maximum of two additional nights – arrival the day before the event and departure the day after the event
VAT is not an eligible cost.
Period of incurrence of eligible costs
SMEs can claim expenses incurred in the period from 1 January 2025 to 30 September 2028.
Activities that will be carried out and paid for within the eligibility period specified in the co-financing contract will be eligible for co-financing. The beneficiary must carry out all activities before submitting the payment request.
Special conditions
- When selecting an external contractor, the SME must act economically and obtain the service at market price
- The business delegation must be attended by the owner or legal representative or an employee of the company
- Costs can be claimed for one (1) participant from the SME (within each delegation)
- Eligible costs can be claimed for a maximum of five (5) days of the official program of the business delegation, regardless of the fact that the business delegation may last longer. The official program is considered to be the program that includes activities carried out within the business delegation in the country for which it was organized.
