The Slovene Enterprise Fund is once again enabling the submission of applications for voucher V1 – Voucher for participation in economic delegations.

Date of publication: 16.01.2026

The Slovene Enterprise Fund (hereinafter SEF) has re-enabled the submission of applications for voucher V1, intended for co-financing the participation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in economic delegations abroad.

The submission of applications was temporarily suspended in the previous period due to the preparation of substantive changes to the public call, through which SEF ensures greater transparency and clearer conditions for the use of funds.

According to the amended public call, eligible costs are those incurred from January 1, 2025, onwards. The costs of SME participation in economic delegations abroad, organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Investments, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Slovene Enterprise Fund, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, are co-financed, whereby certificates of participation for the CCI and CCSB can only be issued by the parent organizations and foreign chambers of commerce operating in Slovenia and organizing delegations for Slovenian companies. The changes also relate to the updated form, which is a mandatory attachment to the payment request.

The eligible costs include the costs of registration fees for participation in an economic delegation abroad, up to a maximum of EUR 300, the costs of air transport in basic or economy class, and the costs of overnight stays or overnight stays with breakfast. Overnight stays are eligible during the duration of the delegation and a maximum of two additional overnight stays – arrival the day before the event and departure the day after the end of the official program.

Costs can be claimed for one participant per delegation, namely for the company owner, legal representative, or employee.

Eligible costs can be claimed for a maximum of five days of the official program of the economic delegation, regardless of the possible longer duration of the delegation. The official program is considered to be the program of activities carried out within the framework of the economic delegation in the country for which it was organized. The condition that only invoices paid with the company card can be claimed still applies.

The amount of the subsidy is at least EUR 300 and no more than EUR 2,000. The voucher is intended to promote internationalization, connection with foreign markets, and strengthen the competitiveness of Slovenian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
