SEF’s P2 incentive for the launch of innovative companies available in 2026

Date of publication: 13.02.2026

The Slovene Enterprise Fund (hereinafter: SEF) is publishing the public call P2 2026 – Incentives for the launch of innovative companies in 2026, aimed at supporting innovative micro and small enterprises developing new products, services or processes with high added value. This year as well, the call gives priority support to companies operating in areas aligned with the principles of climate neutrality, the circular economy, and Slovenia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy (S5).

Within the call, companies may obtain up to EUR 72,000 in non-repayable funding, intended to support market entry and accelerate development and growth. The funds will be disbursed to beneficiaries in three tranches—EUR 12,000, EUR 21,000 and EUR 39,000—subject to the successful achievement of clearly predefined development milestones.

Innovative micro and small enterprises established in the period from January 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026 may apply, provided they have not yet completed the development of their product and are in the prototype phase or at an early stage of market testing.

The call provides 100% co-financing of eligible activities directly related to the project’s development phases. Payment of each tranche is conditional upon the successful achievement of the objectives of the respective phase, ensuring targeted support for companies and encouraging efficient implementation of development activities.

Start-up training as support for investors

As part of the P2 2026 call, start-up training sessions for potential investors will again be organised this year. The training will take place between February 17 and March 3, 2026, in cooperation with selected institutions from the supportive environment for innovative entrepreneurship. Participants will receive practical knowledge in business model development, preparing an investment pitch, and understanding the call’s requirements. Participation is not mandatory; however, it provides 7 additional points under the evaluation criteria and contributes significantly to higher-quality applications.

Applications for individual start-up training sessions are collected separately by the selected institutions, depending on the scheduled dates and until available places are filled. The application form and all additional information are available on the website: https://www.startup.si/sl-si/p2-lokacije-termini

Mentoring and further support

After signing the co-financing agreement, selected companies are required to work with an experienced start-up mentor, who provides individual professional support in business development, strengthening competences and overcoming initial challenges when entering the market. Companies will also be able to join specialised support programmes for faster market entry and global growth.

Applications to the call will be submitted electronically via the SEF ePortal, while the call documentation will be fully available on the Slovene Enterprise Fund website.

The full P2 2026 call is published on the Slovene Enterprise Fund website and in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 11/2026, where the call’s conditions and evaluation criteria are set out in detail.
