• to encourage the development of micro-enterprises in the field of forestry and thus exploit the development potential of the Slovenian strategic raw material (wood)
• co-financing of investments of micro-enterprises in tangible and intangible assets
• emphasis will be placed on projects that will enable further development and sustainable growth of micro-enterprises in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with the principles of the circular economy

• EUR 1.8 million available for the period 2023-2024

• Micro-enterprises with at least one employee for full-time and a maximum of 10 employees as of 31.8.2023, with headquarters in the Republic of Slovenia
• On the date of application, the company must be registered for at least 18 months
• Organized as companies, sole proprietors or cooperatives
• Investors can be companies that introduce products and services in the field of wood use and have a registered activity:
  • Section C16 Wood processing and manufacture of products of wood, cork, straw and plaiting materials, except furniture and
  • Section C31 Manufacture of furniture (except class C 31.03 – manufacture of mattresses)

• Costs of purchasing tangible fixed assets
  /purchase of new equipment and tools and new machines for the needs of the technological process of wood processing/
• Costs of purchasing intangible fixed assets
  /only the purchase of new software/
• Costs of transport, assembly and commissioning of equipment.

To obtain funds:

• in 2023: eligible costs must be incurred and the project must be completed by 15.11.2023
• in 2024: eligible costs must be incurred and the project must be completed by 15.10.2024

• The project must be carried out in the field of wood use and/or wood composites
  /the share of wood in wood composites must be above 50% of the volume/
• The project must not start before the date of publication of the public tender
• Credit rating of the investor according to the S.BON model
• The company must not be in difficulty
• The company does not belong to an excluded sector
• Closed financial construction
• Remaining available amount »de minimis«

• A maximum of one application will be approved per applicant
• The applicant may apply for co-financing funds in only one of the two years
• The applicant must keep a separate, separate accounting record of eligible and ineligible costs

• no later than 17.11.2023 for projects co-financed in the year 2023
• no later than 17.10.2024 for projects co-financed in the year 2024

• The application is submitted electronically, via the ePortal of the Fund
• The application can be submitted on the following application deadlines:
  • 04.09.2023 until 14:00
  • 06.11.2023 until 14:00 or until all funds are used

• Before completing the application form, the applicant registers and creates a company profile

• Non-binding pro forma invoices and offers, issued no more than 60 days before the date of application. All pro forma invoices and offers must be entered and numbered sequentially in the list of project costs. The final selected contractors may differ from those originally planned in the final implementation of the project.

• AJPES proof of credit rating S.BON-1 or eS.BON (online credit rating) for companies, sole proprietors, cooperatives, based on the annual report for 2022
