The purpose of the product is to:

• encourage the development of micro-enterprises in the field of wood processing, thereby exploiting the potential of the Slovenian strategic raw material (wood)
• encourage micro-enterprise investments in new technological equipment, business digitisation, and the transition to a low-carbon, circular, and climate-neutral economy.

• 60% coverage of eligible project costs

Possibility to submit 1 application.

• Micro-enterprises with at least one employee for full-time and a maximum of 10 employees on 30 6. 2024, with headquarters in the Republic of Slovenia
• On the date of submission of the application, the company must be registered for at least 18 months
• Organised as companies, sole proprietors or cooperatives
• Applicants can be companies, that introduce products and services in the field of wood use and have a registered activity:
  • Section C16 – Processing of wood, manufacture of products of wood, cork, straw and plaiting materials, except furniture and
  • Section C31 – Manufacture of furniture (except class C 31.03 – Manufacture of mattresses).

• The project must be carried out in the field of wood use and/or wood composites (the proportion of wood in wood composites must be over 50% of the volume
• The project must not start before the date of publication of the public tender
• Credit rating of the applicant according to the S.BON-1 model
• The company must not be in difficulty
• The company does not belong to an excluded sector
• Closed financial construction
• Still available amount according to »de minimis«

• Tangible fixed assets (purchase of new equipment and tools and new machines for the needs of the technological process of wood processing)
• Intangible long-term assets (only the purchase of new software for the wood processing process)
• Costs of transport, assembly and commissioning of equipment

VAT is not an eligible cost.

To obtain funds:

• In 2024: eligible costs must be incurred and the project must be completed by 15 11. 2024
• In 2025: eligible costs must be incurred and the project must be completed by 15 10. 2025

The application is submitted electronically via the Fund’s ePortal.

The application can be submitted on the following application deadlines:

  • Issued no more than 60 days before the date of submission of the application. All pro forma invoices and offers must be entered and numbered sequentially in the list of project costs. The finally selected contractors may differ from those originally planned in the final implementation of the project.
