The purpose of the public call is to contribute to the improvement of the support environment for innovative start-up entrepreneurship by providing free support services for innovative potential entrepreneurs and innovative start-up companies.

Support services will contribute:

• to strengthening innovative entrepreneurial potential;
• to accelerating the establishment of new innovative start-up companies;
• to increasing the number of newly established innovative companies, especially those that achieve higher added value compared to the Slovenian average; and
• to improving the development potential and competitiveness of innovative start-up companies and, consequently, to reducing their mortality rate in the initial stages of development.

The subject of the public call is the financing of the implementation of support services and other activities of the national start-up consortium, which are provided free of charge to target groups, i.e. innovative potential entrepreneurs and innovative start-up companies.

Support for target groups is provided through:

• promotion of an innovative entrepreneurial culture:
• information and promotion
• start-up events
• implementation of comprehensive support services:
• start-up programs (pre-incubation, incubation and horizontal acceleration)
• start-up consulting
• start-up mentoring and
• expert advice

In addition to the support services and activities defined above, the selected national start-up consortium will carry out other activities that are not intended for end users, but are necessary to ensure adequate and comprehensive support services.

• EUR 3,258,333.33

• Only a consortium can apply to the public tender, which must include a minimum of six (6) and a maximum of eight (8) partners, of which at least three (3) partners must have their registered office in one of the three largest statistical regions in Slovenia, according to the number of newly established companies according to SURS data for 2022 (Central Slovenia, Podravska and Savinjska region).
• The lead partner and all consortium partners can only be legal entities of public or private law, entered in the Business Register of Slovenia and have been carrying out comparable support services and activities that are the subject of this public tender at least from 1. 1. 2022 to the date of publication of the public call
