Purpose of the call
- To encourage micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to comprehensively digitally transform their production and business processes
- Modernization of business and production processes and the introduction of new digital business models
- Greater efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of operations
- The purpose of the public call is to encourage micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to comprehensively digitally transform their production and business processes by introducing digital business and adapting to modern digital markets.
- The investments will enable companies to restructure and modernize their business and production processes based on improving the digital way of doing business, raising digital competencies, and introducing new digital business models, which will contribute to greater efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of operations.
- The expected result of the call is: implementation of digital transformation, increase in employee competencies, increase in value added per employee by at least 3%.
- This measure will encourage the growth and development of companies, with an emphasis also on sustainable development and green solutions.

Funds available
- The available quota of funds has been increased by EUR 5 million and now totals EUR 22.8 million, of which:
- a maximum of EUR 12.04 million for the Cohesion Region of Eastern Slovenia
- a maximum of EUR 10.76 million for the Cohesion Region of Western Slovenia
Amount of funding
- up to EUR 100,000.00 in grants
- 50% co-financing of eligible costs
- the total cost of the operation (including VAT) must exceed EUR 200,000.00
Conditions for application
- Status of a micro, small, or medium-sized enterprise (sole proprietor, limited liability company, or cooperative)
- At least 5 employees on the date of publication of the public call
- The applicant must have an Action Plan for the implementation of digital transformation prepared at the time of submitting the application
- The applicant will implement the digital transformation in accordance with the action plan and complete it no later than 20. 2. 2026
- The operation must not have started before 1. 10 2024
- A closed financial construction must be demonstrated in the application
- The company must not be in difficulty
- The company does not belong to an excluded sector
- Rules on state aid »de minimis«
Eligible costs
- costs of purchasing tangible fixed assets: only the purchase of new computer hardware and new equipment for automation and robotization of production, without production machines and devices, including the costs of an external contractor, related to the installation and implementation of equipment in the technological process;
- costs of purchasing intangible assets: only the purchase of new software, which is intended solely for the needs of the reported operation, including the costs of an external contractor, related to the installation and implementation of equipment in the technological process;
- costs of services of external contractors:
- costs of programming and implementation of dedicated software,
- costs of renting computer hardware and software for the period from 1. 10. 2024 to 20. 2. 2026
- costs of services related to cybersecurity
- costs of setting up or upgrading a website/store up to a maximum of EUR 5,000.00 excluding VAT
- employee training costs, up to a total of EUR 5,000.00 excluding VAT, in the field of:
- improving customer experience, effective collection, processing, and visualization of data in the company, development of processes and digital solutions to support business and production, introduction of digital business models, introduction of cybersecurity, and implementation of Industry 4.0 projects.
The following are not eligible costs:
- Road transport vehicles
- Production machines and devices
- Costs of preparing the application, strategic and implementation documents, analyses, consulting, coordination, action plan, digital marketing and preparation of digital content, etc.
- VAT is not an eligible cost

Tender deadlines and method of submitting the application
The application is submitted electronically via the Fund’s ePortal.
The application deadline is May 7, 2025, until 2:00 PM.

2. Registration and creation of a company in the ePortal
- Before completing the application form, the applicant registers and creates a company profile
- If the applicant needs assistance in preparing the application, they can add an authorized representative who is also registered on the Fund’s ePortal: Authorization for signing and submitting the application

3. Preparation of the application

- The action plan must be prepared on the basis of the template that can be found here.
- Company financial plan prepared with the “Financial Annex” tool (step 3; Preparation of the business plan (financial part))
- The form for completing the financial plan can be found here.
- Attach to the financial plan the balance sheet and income statement for 2023, which were submitted to AJPES.
- AJPES proof of credit rating S.BON-1 or eS.BON (online credit rating) based on the annual report for 2023. The proof is not subject to supplementation!
